If the two methods above did not work on removing the password screen of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the next option would be to do a factory reset on the smartphone. Tried different cables and USB Ports so i could make the firmware download and re-install with this “Downloading” mode (Power+ Volume Down + Home –> Volume Up) for my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +…. For those that have already created a Backup PIN type that into the phone to get around the password screen lock. I also tried usind Odin3, but it wont recognize my phone when plugging in.
